the winter break is finally over..lot's of changes and new players, especially for the bottom teams. should be a fun second half

Friday:

Gladbach- München: under 2.5,3 @ 1.75

it s tough to choose a side as münchen did not win in last 3 games at gladbach..always a special atmosphere in this match, which seems to give gladbach an extra boost.it will definetely be a close one..münchen away is a good under bet at any time as they like to control the game. gladbach had 10 total goals in l4 home games, but that includes acrazy 4-3 win. so they are also more on the under...under should be the right pick as i expect a draw or close münchen win.

CHriscol, Are you going to have any Bundesliga 2 tomorrow? if you do and you already know what they are I would appreciate it if you could post them tonight. They go off at 6:00 am tomorrow in the US, a bit early for me. Thanks if you have them. BOL

jwunder...sorry for posting while you are sleeping, but i do too :cryingcry

But you dont miss anything..i have a lean on freiburg -1, but will not make it a play.

1. Bundesliga:

Leverkusen- Frankfurt: Leverkusen -0.5 @ 1.92

I still believe in this team, maybe it costs me money, but they should be better than frankfurt. i hope leverkusen turns it around in 2nd half. Frankfurt coming of a great cup-away win during the week, so they have already one serious game under their belt..they are dangerous, but the outcome is totally up to leverkusen. if they perform as they can, it will be an easy winner..if not frankfurt will win on the counter-attack..i dont see a draw here.

Berlin- Hannover: Berlin -0.5 @ 1.75

Better team at home. Although berlin struggled sometimes in the past vs. teams they should be i think they will have a good start. Hannover team had the flu this week and it is still undecided who is able to play or not...at least they will be not 100 % fit.

Mainz- Köln: Köln +0.5 @ 1.94 !! 2 units!!

that's my big game. Mainz played well during the week in a close cup match at München, but this is league again. A very important match for both teams in fight against relegation. Mainz is favourite cause the home-advantage, but that only means a draw covers for köln, which i think is very likely.
Two key mainz players got injured during the week.
Köln on the other hand, changed the team dramatically...they have a new, very experienced coach, who seems to have the right chemistry with the players so far. they played very good test-matches and from what you hear the confidence is back in the players.
ALso they have 2 new players, which are veterans and very solid. one on defense and one on offense. That should help the team a lot..especially on stabilizing the defense, which was the weakest part in 1st half of season .
I simply dont see much between the team, even if you count for the home-field and i see a good chance köln will start off with an away win.

Nürnberg- Hamburg: Hamburg pk,-0.5 @ 1.952

Hamburg with two new players: ailton and a dutch national side player..they are simply the better team and although having better results to end the year i expect Nürnber to struggle mightily this year. their is no real potential in the team. go with the much, much better team her (history is also very positive for hamburg playing at nürnberg)

Stuttgart- Duisburg: STuttgart -1 @1.76

Better, team at home. they should at least get the win and i hope for a cover.

tough day yesterday.. looking for come back today:

2. Bundesliga

Ahlen- Braunschweig: Under 2.5 @ 1.926

I would be very surprised if this hits 2 goals.. both teams are strong defensively and have no fire power..two of the teams, which i always look at , when betting under facing each under. it s my strongest play in 2. liga today..maybe i ll even upgrade it later.

Fürth- Offenbach: Fürth -1 @ 1.971

Offenbach with new coach, but that is the only factor that could prevend Fürth from covering.. i ll still go with the better team playing at home.

Unterhaching- Siegen: Unterhaching -0.5 @1.85

Recently one of the top teams at home against Siegen, which is clearly on the way down. Siegen is close to the relegation zone and as they are playing right now, that s where they will be most of the year. Also a strong play here.

I got a couple of leans, but not sure yet if i pull the trigger.check in in 20 min, if you like. i might add one.

1. Bundesliga is coming later.

adding: Cottbus- Bochum: Cottbus pk,+0.5 @ 1.78

Best striker from Bochum is out today.. i dont think they will go all for a win here. That should be a close game, so i go with the home team..under also might be a good play.

1. Bundesliga

Bielefeld- Bremen: under 3 goals @ 1.89

Both teams coming off cup matches on wednesday. Bielefeld won on penalties against a 2nd division team, while bremen lost at a 3rd league team. What was even worse for bremen is a injury for top-striker Klose, who will be out for several weeks. I dont think they can adjust that quickly and play their high-power style today. This could very well be a hard fought game, which both teams taking no risks and try to start not with a loss more than going for a win.

i ve no opinion on the schalke match as schalke plays under new coach, but had terrible results in test matches and does not look ready for the start. on the other hand you have kaiserslautern, which is plain terrible.
